God has good plans for us

God is just so good. As I planned my bible lesson for Victory Kids tomorrow. God’s Words became alive and spoke to me and taught me first!

“for the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitude of the heart” Heb 4:12. Marvelous!

This month’s character development is about Goodness – God has good plans for us. “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called. And he went out, not knowing where he was going” Heb 11:8.

With the new job coming up it’s liken to Abram’s calling. I probably shared some common thoughts as Abram did! All the “what ifs” understand that while God often calls us to chart unknown territory with unknown outcome! He never forsake us – make no mistakes about it! Our daily bread writes: the fear of the unknown could cripple our capacity to follow God’s leading through the days and months ahead. Yet like Abraham when we cling to the One who knows all things, we will be in good hands – regardless of where He leads. Amen! Never be afraid to entrust the unknown future to the all-knowing God.

Not only did this Bible lesson prepared me to teach the children God taught me that He Has Good Plans for Me!

I came across Dietrich Bonhoeffer writings “the word of scripture should never stop sounding in your ears and working in you all day long, just like the words of someone you love. … accept the Word of Scripture and ponder it in your heart … until it has gone right into you”
