I thought it was another routine meeting with customer organised by Marketing.  The person I met was Mr Tan Kin Lian, ex-CEO of NTUC income.  He has lots and lots of ideas.  He is an inventor, designer etc etc, and a grandfather I believe!  He is in the business of helping others to improve “life”.  Was given a shape quiz game pack and sudoku game booklets – which helps in developing a “disciplined” mind.  Also a torchlight which he designed and manufactured in China.  Unbelievable!

My announcement that I will be leaving M1 after 13+ years is one with mixed feeling. Reluctance to leave colleagues who have been almost like part of my extended family. Yet the excitement to start a new chapter in my career!

Some apprehension came about – if I can make it and what if I failed! Thank you Pastor Lawrence Seow for the message which ministered to me and strengthened my faith in God.

We sang and truly I am reminded and encouraged that:

– my life is in you Lord
– my strength is in you Lord
– my hope is in you Lord

More important God is a wonderful counsellor and Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6)! My constant prayer by claiming and clinging on to God’s promised paid off!

“Do not be anxious about anything but in everything through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God and His peace which transcends all understanding will guide my heart and mind in Christ Jesus!” Philippians 4:6-7

I am ready and look forward to starting an exciting adventure and most importantly going everywhere and doing everything (secular and serving God) with “the mind of Christ” 1 Cor 2:16.

Be reminded that “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” Heb 11:1.
